Dr. Nicole Toomey Rasmussen, DMD
Dr. Rasmussen, a native of Rochester, NY, and a proud Cape Coral resident, is not only the owner but the heart of Rasmussen Family Dental. After graduating from Mariner High School, she pursued her academic journey at The University of Central Florida, obtaining a Bachelor of Micro-Molecular Biology degree. This was a stepping stone to her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. Driven by a thirst for excellence, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through New York University.
Returning to Southwest Florida in 2016, Dr. Rasmussen established Rasmussen Family Dental - South (Cape Coral), followed by Rasmussen Family Dental - North (North Fort Myers) in 2019. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is an avid advocate for community service, impacting over 5,000 Title 1 students in Lee County since 2008. As a passionate educator, she imparts crucial oral health knowledge in classrooms and beyond.
Dr. Rasmussen's commitment shines through her leadership as President of the Lee County Dental Society and her active involvement in renowned dental associations including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association's new member task force. Her unwavering pursuit of growth keeps her on the cutting edge of her field, ensuring she remains at the forefront of advancements. Dr. Andrea Parsons, DDS
Dr. Andrea Parsons' journey from the Northshore suburbs of Chicago to Florida has been a testament to her dedication to dental excellence. Growing up in the Windy City, she embarked on her academic pursuits at Marquette University, where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and double minors in Biology and Chemistry. Her passion for dentistry led her to Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, setting the foundation for her impactful career.
Practicing dentistry in Florida since 2012, Dr. Parsons' commitment extends beyond her practice walls. As a member of the American Dental Association and a past President of the Lee County Dental Society, she actively contributes to her professional community. Engaging in community outreach programs such as Project Dentists Care, Mission of Mercy, and Give Kids a Smile Day, she ensures that care reaches those less fortunate. A lifelong learner, Dr. Parsons maintains her expertise by regularly attending continuing education courses, staying abreast of the latest dental advancements.
Outside the dental realm, Dr. Parsons finds joy in exploring new horizons with her husband, indulging in adventurous culinary creations, passionately supporting her favorite Wisconsin sports teams, and cherishing moments with her children, Sofia and Isabella. Dr. Lily Cubero, DDS
Dr. Cubero is originally from Miami, she received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida International University and then went on to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. Dr. Cubero is a lifelong learner, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through New York University in Bonita Springs, Florida. She prides herself on providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care to her patients using the latest techniques and technology. Dr. Cubero strives to make each patient feel at ease in her gentle care, focusing on preventative care and education in addition to restorative dentistry.
Upon returning to Florida in 2017, Dr. Cubero joined the Lee County Dental Society and she is now this year’s Secretary/Treasurer. She enjoys volunteering her time and dental skills through programs like Project Dentists Care, which provides dental care to underserved populations. Dr. Cubero also believes in continually improving her skills through ongoing continuing education courses. She stays up to date on the latest techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care to her patients.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cubero enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and dog Scarlett. She also likes baking and playing online games. Dr. Cubero brings her expertise, compassion, and personalized care to everything she does to help her patients have healthy, beautiful smiles.
